HOE VER NOG?
Naledi
Naledi ISBN: 978-1-991256-19-5
The 13-week journey of  Op Reis saam met Christine en Jacques  (On a Journey with Christine and Jacques) was an incredible journey with Jacques Botes and the listeners of Pretoria FM. Hoe ver nog? (How far still?) is a summary but also a continuation of this amazing journey. It contains a collection of short stories and sketches, many of which were shared on Op Reis, but also a few others from talks and writings, each telling a story or painting a picture of a journey. At any given time, you and I are on our way from some “here” to some “there”. It tells of an arrival, a turning point, a dead end, a crash landing – of dreams and travel plans, of waiting and wondering with many questions. The biggest question we face, besides “how far still?” and “are we there yet?” is, “what do I do when there is nothing I can do?” Each story in Hoe ver nog? is a journey on its own told under an umbrella of grace, of a bigger picture, a bigger story; a jo…

Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Stops, setbacks, and surprises are part of the journey. Well, This Wasn’t on the Map: Navigating Stops, Setbacks, and Surprises brings Christine’s acclaimed Hoe ver nog? (How Much Further?) to English readers, now expanded with fresh insights and a new chapter, “Navigating the Gravel Road of Becoming”. Christine’s stories and reflections act as a companion for life’s in-between seasons, showing that even when the stop wasn’t your choice, you can still decide how to move forward.
