*** TOWARDS A META-PHYSICS OF BEAUTY WITHIN THE SPIRITUALITY OF DYING AND MEANING-GIVING An autobiographical journey through dystopia • This book is about challenging imperialistic and traditional belief systems and the impact of materialistic, global worldviews on the aesthetics and meaning of life. The presupposition is that the aesthetics of poetic seeing is more fundamental than the moral framework of achievement ethics. • What is meant by die spiritual question: What is more in life than merely to survive and to cope with the demands of everyday living? • How does one create language for the spirituality of humane well-being and pastoral healing so that one can discover the mystery of beauty despite human vulnerability, brokenness and painful suffering? • Offer spirituality online better options for netizens to cope with the demands of everyday living than the costly consultation rooms of counselling specialists? • Offer Facebook with its new trademark metaverse, within the cyberspace of Elon Musk’s SpaceX,…
DEUS LUDENS

What if God laughs, dances and plays? Deus Ludens is the bold and beautiful idea that God’s essence includes joy, creativity, and playfulness. Unlike the stern images of a distant, judgmental deity, Deus Ludens invites us to see the Divine as delighting in creation – not only through solemn rituals, but through festivals, music, laughter, and even life’s surprises. The concept doesn’t mean ignoring pain or struggle and the inevitable rollercoasting of emotions and circumstances. Instead, it explores how joy and play are powerful forces of healing, imagination, and resilience.

Displacement
Naledi
Naledi ISBN: 9781067234423
Displacement challenges us to rethink community, identity, and belonging. Richly illustrated and grounded in decades of research, it goes beyond the study of human displacement – it is a call to action. Louw explores the physical and emotional spaces we inhabit, from Cape Coast’s grassroots spirituality to the digital landscapes of the metaverse, offering insights into our universal longing for connection. In a world fractured by dislocation, he presents a vision of healing and coexistence, urging us to embrace spirituality as a bridge to dignity and peace. He interdisciplinary approach highlights the vital role of faith communities in fostering resilience and meaning amid injustice and loss. Through powerful metaphors, including the African concept of ubuntu (“I am because you are”), Louw invites readers to rediscover one another in shared spaces of transformation and communal healing. With his vast theological acumen and everyday South African experience, Daniël Louw takes the concept of displacement and broadens its meaning not only to include the physical, but also the emotional, cultural, spiritual/religious, economical, and political. This monumental work (…) is fundamentally thought-provoking Prof Theuns Eloff Independent commentator Former rector of Northwest University, Potchefstroom No one writes quite like Daniël Louw. His gift is to weave together philosophical, biblical, theological, psychological, political and ethical thought creatively and incisively. Very few practical theologians would be able to achieve what Daniël Louw has achieved here. Migrating between Athens (cooperative, commonwealth democracy), via Jerusalem (peaceful hope), by means of metaverse thinking (cyberspatial digitalisation). Then to the Cape Coast (grassroots spaza economy and township spirituality), Cape L’Agulhas (the yearning for compassionate coexistence in a post-apartheid society) and, finally, to necropolis (graceful dying and peaceful resting place).

Kaiings
Naledi
Naledi ISBN: 9781067234706
Naledi
Naledi ISBN: 978-1-991256-82-9-1
Loop alles altyd reg soos in ‘n Toyota advertensie? Indien nie: Wat nou? Die oomblik van ontnugtering en verwarring vat die sangeres, Rihanna, in haar lied die gevoel as volg saam: “What now? I just can’t figure it out What now? I guess I’ll just wait it out (Wait it out) What now? Somebody tell me What now? I don’t know where to go I don’t know what to feel I don’t know how to cry I don’t know oh-oh why So what now? Nelson Mandela se wysheid: “I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.” (aanhaling uit Invictus) Rihanna, what now lyrics? https://www.google.com/ search?q=what+now+rihanna&scaesv=576211123&source=hp&ei=0iE4ZdrTHOGqkdUPz6KUUA&iflsig=
